Meet the Team

Suzanne Starr, DVM, CCRP | veterinarian and owner

Suzanne graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1996 and completed an internship at the Angell Memorial Animal Hospital. She has practiced general veterinary medicine in the greater Boston area for 8 years prior to opening Paws In Motion. She has completed the IVAS course for veterinary acupuncture and is certified in canine rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee.   Outside of work, Suzanne is currently on the board of the MVMA Charities.  She also volunteers through the Pets And People Foundation with her therapy dog, Chipper, to visit hospitals, nursing homes and schools.  Her favorite activities are spending time with her 3 dogs.

 

Ashley DeCicco , assistant

Ashley grew up having a variety of animals from cats to exotics. After attending medical assistance school, she worked at a kennel in Cambridge for 3 years. She then moved on to join the Blue Pearl Specialty and Emergency Pet Hospital as a receptionist.   In October 2018, Ashley joined Paws In Motion. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her nephew and her 4 dogs and 2 cats.
